1. What data we collect

FilexConvert processes the files you upload exclusively to perform the requested conversion. We do not store or read the content of your documents beyond the time needed to process them.

Technical data we record anonymously: IP address (hashed), type of conversion performed, file size, and result (success/error). We do not collect names, emails, or any personal data unless you voluntarily register.

2. File retention

Uploaded files and conversion results are automatically deleted from the server within 1 hour of generation, regardless of whether they have been downloaded. This process is automatic and irreversible.

3. Security

All communications between your device and our server are protected with TLS/SSL (HTTPS) encryption. Files are temporarily stored in restricted-access directories identified by a unique, unpredictable UUID.

4. Cookies

FilexConvert uses only strictly necessary technical cookies for service operation (session, language preferences). We do not use tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics cookies.

5. Third parties

We do not share, sell, or transmit your files or data to third parties. All processing is done entirely on our servers.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectification, deletion, and portability of your data. Since we do not store personal data linked to your identity for basic service use, these rights are automatically exercised by the platform design.
